October 25, 2011 and I am entering my first I Heart Faces (www.iheartfaces.com) photo contest. Exciting!! It's yet another step in the world of photography. I've been taking pictures since I was like five-years-old, sold a few along the way, decorated many a home with them, opened my Etsy shop (naggysshop.etsy.com) this summer, and now I'm blogging. My - how the ball rolls! You never know how your life will collide. Writing, photography, family and friends... all my favorite things.
The photo contest is called "Let Them Be Little." Here Ian, our first and only child, is six months and loving his rubber ducky bath tub. I think this picture really captures my heart because Ian couldn't stand baths the first few months of his life and now his splish splashes cover the bath tub, his mama and daddy, and the Boys (our three dogs). Joy.
In utero it felt like he swam from side to side. I joked that we had a swimmer in training. Time will tell.
